5. Pulling On Their Leash

It is necessary to train your dog to walk on a leash. This is for your own safety as well your dog’s.
You don’t want your dog dragging you down the street when you are out for a walk, but you don’t want to be pulling them all the time as well.
The leash should be loose, which indicates that the dog is alert and aware of its surroundings. If you start pulling on the leash you can eventually hurt the dog.
One way to get the dog used to walking on a leash is to constantly change directions and speeds. This helps the dog focus and pay closer attention to you.
Once you’ve got the dog walking with a loose leash you will both be much happier.

A lot of these are just common sense (which I know is sadly lacking in some folks) but it all depends on the dog. Besides that, being the incredibly intuitive and sensitive creatures that they are, they will adapt to how you express affection. Our dogs will lick our faces off if we let them, and we kiss their little heads in return.

Dogs love car rides, and of course you shouldn’t give them spoiled food!!! Most of these are common sense, but we know dogs have more common sense than most people!!!
