31. Leaving Them Out In Cold Temperatures

Some dogs are built for the cold, but not all of them. Just like the dangers of leaving your dog out too long in the heat, when you leave your dog out too long in cold temperatures, they can be susceptible to frostbite and other cold related dangers.
If your dog isn’t a dog that’s known to love the cold, try to avoid leaving them outside during the blistery winter months. Only let them out into the yard as long as they need to use the bathroom and get some exercise, then bring them right back inside. They’ll be just as grateful to come in from the cold as you are!

A lot of these are just common sense (which I know is sadly lacking in some folks) but it all depends on the dog. Besides that, being the incredibly intuitive and sensitive creatures that they are, they will adapt to how you express affection. Our dogs will lick our faces off if we let them, and we kiss their little heads in return.

Dogs love car rides, and of course you shouldn’t give them spoiled food!!! Most of these are common sense, but we know dogs have more common sense than most people!!!
