32. Encouraging Them With Treats instead Of Verbal Reward

Treats can be helpful in training, but relying on treats rather than verbal rewards can make it so your dog will only respond to you if a treat is involved.
This can be dangerous if you need your dog to return to your side in a dangerous situation.
Relying on treats too heavily can also mean that your dog will expect treats every time they follow a direction, which means your pup could gain more weight than you realize quite quickly.
