12. Not Training Your Dog To Come To You When Called
Will your dog come to you when you call his or her name? If not, you could be putting your dog at risk. Imagine, for instance, that you have your dog on a walk and he or she slips out of their collar or you drop their leash. Most dogs would run, right?
If your dog runs, it could get into a perilous situation, such as getting hit by a car. But, if you call their name and they come right back, they will be much safer. If your dog doesn’t do this now, start training them, today!
