23. Letting Them Go Without A Microchip Implant

Getting a microchip implanted into your dog is one of the best investments you can make. Most pet owners don’t realize how easy it is to lose a dog until Fluffy goes missing, and it’s only when that day arrives that they realize how hard it can be to find a runaway dog.
Microchips don’t hurt, they are cheaper than ever, and your dog won’t feel like its privacy has been violated. Collars slip off, and dogs can escape from backyards, if you want to make sure that your dog has a fighting chance of making it back home then you need to invest in a microchip implant.
You can get them for less than $50, and if you can’t afford that kind of money, you probably shouldn’t be adopting a dog.
