10. Not Supervising Your Dog

As tempting as it might be, you should also not allow your dog out and about without supervision. This includes even in your own backyard.
We know that it’s convenient to just let the dog out and allow them to roam, but if you are not watching them, they could put themselves in danger. For instance, have you ever left the gate open and had your dog escape? This is terrifying, of course, but if you go out with your dog, the odds are good that they will stay away from these dangerous situations.
