30. Letting Them Run To Other Dogs Without Leash

If your dog is friendly around other dogs, it may be tempting to just let them meet another dog without having them on a leash.
After all, you know your dog well and you know they wouldn’t hurt a fly. Unfortunately, you don’t know the other dog.
Strange dogs can be skittish or aggressive towards dogs they don’t know running up to them, which can result in a dangerous confrontation.
Make sure you have your dog on a leash at all times when introducing them to new dogs.
