You also are shortening your dog’s life if he or she is overweight. The Association for Pet Obesity Prevention claims that up to 53% of dog’s in the United States are overweight. We were surprised by this, but were even more shocked when we kept reading this report.
You see, out of these overweight dogs, about 95% of owners didn’t believe that their dogs were actually too fat! To keep your dog at a good weight, limit the people food you give them and increase their exercise by taking walks. It will be good for you, too!
