This is another common houseplant that most people have around their home without realizing how toxic it can be to animals.
The big, broad leaves of the dumb crane contained a chemical called insoluble crystals of calcium oxalate.
When ingested, your dog may experience burning sensations to the mouth and throat, as well as swelling.
Unfortunately, this can prove fatal if your dog’s throat swells up.
It’s best to keep this plant out of your home for a more dog friendly alternative.
