Currants are much like grapes and raisins in their toxicity to pups.
While they may seem like a harmless snack, they can be extremely toxic when fed to your dog.
They carry the same level of toxicity that grapes do, and can cause vomiting and diarrhea. They’re capable of causing renal failure if ingested.
You’re better off taking your dog to the very for a check up if they manage to get ahold of this little red fruit.
