Apricots are similar to cherries in that both the plant as well as the seeds are incredibly dangerous to dogs.
The pit of an apricot contains cyanide, which is toxic to both dogs and humans.
The pulp, however, can be consumed by your dog without an issue.
If you want to feed your pup some apricot as a health treat, make sure to completely remove any of the toxic elements of this particular fruit.
