  1. All these stupid names mean nothing. These dogs are all simply mongrel. Crossing these breeds you have no idea what temperament traits they will inherit or what physical appearance they will have or health issues. I class that as a mongrel. Too many backyard breeders mixing breeds and slapping a fancy name on them. And a nice big price tag. Sometimes more than you would pay for a pedigree puppy. I’m sure some lovely dogs are created but they are mongrel not some fancy blended breed. A breed takes generations of selective breeding to produce.

  2. My name is Delsin. I’m a frug. A French bulldog cross pug. The woman who bred me a kc registered breeder messed up. She breeds pugs and French bulldogs. It was a genuine mistake. Mummy done some research as mummy wanted a pug and decided that having a frug would be okay as a French bulldog and a pug are similar breeds. I have a lovely coat, fantastic heath and my breathing is brilliant compared to kc pugs who snort, I pant. I am really lean and weigh a lovely amount. I’m very affectionate and haven’t growled in my life. I do get a little hyper once in a while. Mummy has me fully insured for life which was cheaper because I’m a cross. I’m not a mongrel. I’m a frug, I am not any less better than another kc dog out there. I’m very loved. Please from me and mummy get your facts right. I cost mummy £500 as apposed to over a grand for a French bulldog or at least £800 for a pug. I am still not a mongral. You can call me a cross or frug or even delsin which is my name.

  3. That’s amazing delsin you have learned how to write, and managed to use Facebook. Your definitely a cracking little guy. But your still a mongrel. I have no prejudice towards mongrel. I just feel that these stupid mix names fool people into paying stupid money. You can breed whatever you wish together to create a dog. But you cant just breed 1 or 2 generations. Have a million variations in appearance and temperament and say you have a breed. I am not saying breeds cannot be created from blending breeds of dog together for a desired purpose. O myself own a Boerboel. A dog that has been developing since 1692. Many breeds have been used to produce the modern day Boerboel and it has only recently been recognised as a breed internationally. Generations of selective breeding earned the Boerboel it’s name. Not just deciding one day to breed to pedigree dogs together and blend their name. Sorry but that is just a breeder manipulating a “trend” to make money. And people who have no idea about dogs or dog breeding are gullible enough to pay 500 for a mongrel. You pay the higher money for a pedigree due to the fact you know what your getting. The downside is some breeds have been destroyed by people breeding for looks rather than purpose. Like the pug. Or English bulldog. Breeding in that way leads to health issues that’s why mongrel are sometimes much healthier dogs. Still they are mongrel. Or crossbreed or whatever. They are certainly not frug, chug, labradoodle, blah blah list goes on. Breed pug and French bulldog together for say another few decades, start getting some consistency in the dogs produced. Then we can talk about Frugs.

  4. What an ignorant thing to say, while you are entitled to your ignorant opinion this is not the place for it, just enjoy the beautiful fur babies. I have two Pugstons and they are not mongrels they are the best pets we have had.
