14. There were many conspiracy theories surrounding Marilyn’s death. One of the more popular ones is that she was murdered in order to prevent her from going public about her supposed affairs with President John F. Kennedy.
This is probably the most popular of the theories. It is based on the belief that Marilyn had an affair with either or both President John F. Kennedy and his brother, Robert (above). Then, to keep that under wraps, the FBI had her killed.
This is almost definitely not true, but it has all the sensational aspects that make it easy for conspiracy theorists to believe.
