38. While filming the movie Let’s Make Love, Marilyn was a constant no-show for her scenes. So much so that she added 28 days to the shooting schedule and cost the producers an extra $1 million in production costs.
This makes you wonder if her acting coach’s fee also had anything to do with helping to manage Marilyn while filming. Not only would she have helped her with lines, but she would also have been around to ensure she was on set at the right times.
That’s just speculation, though. Either way, a 28-day delay is pretty crazy!
