12. Marilyn was known for being fairly athletic, too. Before her life in Hollywood, she studied weightlifting and even once went tandem surfing with her then-boyfriend Tommy Zahn, during which she balanced on his shoulders.
It would have been interesting to see where her life would have taken her if she hadn’t ventured into acting. Would she have kept up with her athletic pursuits? Who’s to say… but it’s an interesting thought.
It does make you imagine what could have become of one of the world’s most famous celebrities if she’d never become an actress, but rather, an athlete.
