  1. Wow guys. Clearly everyone missed the point of my post. My point was that the article was showing pictures of dogs that were SUPPOSED TO BE at least PART PUG. However I disagreed and said i didnt think they looked like pugs because there had no pug in them, the author looks to have just googled puppy pictures and claimed them to be pugs. Hence were some sort of mutt or other dog. I also said they were cute. There is no reason to be disrespecful.
    There is no escaping that a cross breed IS a mutt/mongrel by definition. That doesnt make it any less of a good pet. And yes sometimes selective cross breeding does eventually lead to pedigree dogs (eg french bulldogs). Ultimately it is your responsibility to make sure you are happy with where your dog came from and be informed.

  2. Mine looks like he’s just pug when you first look at him. We’ve even been accused of starving him before-which we certainly do not- because he’s mixed with a Boston terrier which is a typically lean dog. But he looks like a pug in the face.
