Pugs are fun-loving, friendly and very social, and make for very rewarding and truly amazing companions. Their goals in life are simple… to make you happy and snuggle as much as possible.

While they enjoy a good nap, they are also always up for some playtime… which usually consists of running in circles.

All dogs are of course individuals, and this is never truer than for the pug.

But nevertheless, the pug breed as a whole shares a range of almost universal personality traits that all pug lovers and owners will be intimately familiar with.

    Just about every pug we have had has done what is shown in the picture. We have a plaque in our living room that said a spoiled pug lives here, I quipped that our pugs were born spoiled lol

    Pugs are such love beings…… I miss my Otis…. we grew up together. .. he followed me everywhere and always wanted to cuddle…. always… he always knew when I was upset. Always knew when I had to much to drink and would lay his head on my lap and look at me. Stupid vet tried to put him down and I said NO!!! half hour later he died in my arms right before we looked at each other…. he was hanging on for me and I told him that it was ok to die. Moments later his body seized up and he died… it was painful but a profound experience…. pugs are full of love… so much love…………
