22 Signs Your Dog Is Truly Happy

#8 – Is Active

Dogs are not cats. They shouldn’t sleep 20 hours out of the day. And while age and health plays a factor, a happy dog should be up and moving for most the day – exploring things, chewing on toys, etc.

Happy dogs enjoy playtime and walks. While all dogs slow down with age, if your dog seems abnormally quiet or reluctant to engage, this may be a sign they’re not feeling well. Bring your dog to the vet to make sure she isn’t sick or injured.
