    Right….as long as everyone gets that crossing different breeds doesn’t “cancel out” inheiritable health issues. If your breeder can’t do a basic Mendel square and doesn’t track genetic disease/allergies /behavioral issues in their lines then you’ve just overpaid for a mutt. Plenty of pugs and pug mixes wind up in pounds and rescue.
