Dogs are probably one of the most diverse-looking species on the planet. Thousands of years of breeding has created a wide range of distinctive breeds with drastically different colors, coats, sizes and shapes.
But what happens when you take some of these distinctive breeds and combine their most notable properties? You get dogs like these adorable cuties, who combine the best of both of their breeds.
We’ve compiled some of the most UNREAL pictures of Dachshund cross breeds that might shock you at first, but they are REAL.
But one things for sure… I don’t really care what they are… I just wanna to hug them all.
If you love Dachshunds as much as we do, then you’re sure to love these 34 gorgeous Doxie cross breed mixes.
Check out the pics on the next page! Wait 'til you see the last one!!!

I love my dachshund Miss Nellie. But her side kick is a doxle number 20 named Miss Penny. Imagine a dachshund that can get to the table for the last bite of your sandwich. But still will dig up your yard because they think they can reach China. She is a hoot.

Not a fan.I hate anyone who cross breeds a sturdy-boned dachshund with a twig-boned chihuahua. It just is irresponsible to me. I’ll stick with the purebred long-haired dachshunds I love.

Yes. But there are reasons some hybrids work better than others. The basset and dachshund seem like a reasonable mix. There are some others, also. But, just because one can does not mean one should. Mixing a doxie with a chihuahua just makes no sense to me at all. It’s like trying to eat a wonderful hamburger with a saltine cracker for a bun. And, frankly, I’m not interested in being “schooled” as to why I should accept them. I’ve had eight long-haired doxies, 4 minis and 4 standards. I’ve never even been tempted to breed any of them even though they were beautiful dogs, many with AKC papers, and my one I have now is too. He was a stray found starving on the streets of LA. I got him from Dena Delgado’s dachshund rescue. I had gotten another from her before. I’ve had four from breeders and four from rescues. I will pass on any dachshund mixes for me. You’re welcome to all you’d like.

They’re adorable but a vet should be consulted for possible genetic cross breeding problems that might result. Cute is not necessarily healthy or morally right…
