  1. The very first thing I did when I brought my pug home as a puppy I put a little bit of food in the bowl. When he ate that I repeated it again. I continued for about 10-15 mins. He learn quickly he’s no longer having to deal with brothers and sister to get a meal. I started filling his bowl with food. He would eat but ever try eating all of it at one setting. This day there as been no big problem with his weight. He’s now 10 y.o. and ONLY 5 lbs. over weight. I just keep a eye on his food and water to be sure he has something to eat whenever he wanted to eat.
