According to Frenchie Mania, these lion-eared Frenchies are the result of two parents carrying an extremely rare and recessive gene that doesn’t typically appear in the breed.

    Mixed breed. You can tell just looking at it and knowing the fb standard. The nose is huge, like a large breed. The ears small and the long fur, gawd knows where that came from. I dont believe in recesssive genes. Its a mixed breed. Bred for social media attention and probably money

    Sick of seeing this bogus crap and people getting ripped off into paying stupid amounts of money for what at the end of the day is a cross breed. Not recognised by the kennel club as a breed so there for a mut

    why change a breed if you like it’s ok but why call them French bouledogues, I just mean stop dressing dogs, stop wanting the difference get into a breed, love the dog you choose, but a long haired bouledogue isn’t a french bouledogue doesn’t make him or her uglier or prettier , just different out of a breed.
