This Amazing DOCUMENTARY Between a Woman and her Pug Will Touch Your Heart

We've come across an amazing and touching documentary between a woman, Doreen Devore, and her beloved pug, Spanky.

“Considering how much joy our pets can bring us, is love between a pet and an owner any less significant than love between two people?”

That's the question that Doreen raised and this beautiful documentary attempts to (and most successfully does in our opinion) shed some light on that question through the story of the devoted Doreen and her precious pug Spanky.

Spanky has been with Doreen for 16 long years! They are best of friends and love each other very much (which is so apparent from the film). However, Spanky requires a little extra love and attention because of his old age and health problems.

Watch and learn all the ways Doreen keeps Spanky taken care of so that he can stay as healthy as possible. It’s amazing how much devotion can go to a helpless doggy.

  1. This was the most beautiful story of true love and sacrifice I’ve ever seen, I cried my eyes out for Spanky and Doreen. So much love please watch this remarkable woman and her story of love for her baby. Mine are a girl and boy, both 10.

  2. I am so sad and I right this very minute can relate. My Cosmo is 16 also. Blind in one eye, half blind in other , deaf, legs give out, becoming more and more incontinent. My hubby and I have made the hard decision to take him Tuesday for euthanasia. We have struggled with this and I commend you for the love you have given your Spanky as we have for our Cosmo. He is and will always be the joy of our lives. He came to me six months before I was diagnosed with cancer and he was the one who got me up every day during my chemo days to get him out and walk. I was sicker than sick, but knew I needed to care for him, so he would wait until I got myself together in the mornings for our walk. He was the one who “kinda cared for me, even though he was a pup”. I think he knew I was sick. 16 years later, a survivor and my bond with Cosmo is a very special one because of it. A very moving documentary and will be the one I think about when we go on Tuesday. I do pray every night that God in his mercy take him home to “doggie heaven” before we get to the Vet. Anything is possible.

  3. Why cant all dogs be loved like Spanky, I have just howled and it brought back such lovely memories (and painful ones) of our special pug Gracey May, we were only able to have her in our lives fior 6 years but she will live in our hearts forever, beautiful pugs they have the kindest souls x

  4. I am sobbing. We put our pug cookie down 3 months ago. She was 13. She was deaf and couldn’t walk( I bought her wheels ). I miss her sleeping next to me and making all those snoring noises. She was meant for us and we were meant for her. I loved her like no other dog and never will again. I know the pain you feel. God bless
