This Amazing DOCUMENTARY Between a Woman and her Pug Will Touch Your Heart

We've come across an amazing and touching documentary between a woman, Doreen Devore, and her beloved pug, Spanky.

“Considering how much joy our pets can bring us, is love between a pet and an owner any less significant than love between two people?”

That's the question that Doreen raised and this beautiful documentary attempts to (and most successfully does in our opinion) shed some light on that question through the story of the devoted Doreen and her precious pug Spanky.

Spanky has been with Doreen for 16 long years! They are best of friends and love each other very much (which is so apparent from the film). However, Spanky requires a little extra love and attention because of his old age and health problems.

Watch and learn all the ways Doreen keeps Spanky taken care of so that he can stay as healthy as possible. It’s amazing how much devotion can go to a helpless doggy.

Watch this touching story between Doreen and her pug, Spanky on the next page. Grab some tissues!

  1. It is one of the most beautiful love story I have ever watched. I kept on putting it off to watch this because I know it would make me cry. Oh my, I was bawling!! Run free, Spanky. Find my Roscoe and play together. Tell him his momma misses him everyday!

  2. My pug Jordan she is 10….she still acts like a younger dog…she’s very healthy and not fat at all…I cried my eyes out…especially at the end…you did the right thing, it was her time…I understand your heartbreak and I haven’t even got through it yet…I’m so sorry…my Jordan’s picture

  3. Thanks for sharing what love you had for him. My pug Oreo just passed today had fluid in her lungs with an inlarge heart. she started having siztures 2 or 3 years ago which we got conrtoled by meds. But she took med for the fluid and it just came on so fast the vet tried to save her but her heart just gave out. She was 13 her mom is 15 still alive has health issure too.

  4. I had that stroller for last years of my Georgia’s life. She also had kidney failure but was only 13 when I put her down. I should have hung in longer… This film made me know that,.,, miss her so much..,

  5. What a beautiful story about the love between a Pug and his owner. My Pug is 14 1/2 he doesn’t see and hear like he used to. But other then that he’s going pretty good. We treasure each day that he’s with us. He still makes us laugh and we are still in love with him. I can honestly say that we love more today then the day we got him. I guess you could say it’s a special love between a dog and parents.

  6. RIP Spanky you had such a wonderful Mom. You’ll be running over the Rainbow Bridge like you were when you were a puppy. Know your heartbreak Doreen. Miss my Zoey. I cried uncontrollably. But thank you for your story..

  7. I have to say you are an amazing person to love your dog in that way. I have a fawn pug Bella and I know how you feel about the way she loves me back God gave her to me I know people say she’s just a dog. Put spell dog in reverse its God.

  8. The best and most loving and dedicated dog mom ever!❤️ what a great loving story! She’s an amazing lady! I won’t forget her story. I have a pig too so when she cried, I cried. That day will come for me someday and I hope I’m as wonderful as Doreen. She’s a great New Yorker the a great big heart❤️

  9. This story made me cry so hard even though I knew what was inevitable. Thank you for sharing. I have a pug that I am so in love with and I hope I have him anywhere near the number of years that Spanky lived.

  10. What a beautiful tribute!! We have two pugs-Minnie and Paulie. Our Minnie will be turning 15 in October. She is deaf, and has trouble walking, but still has quite the personality. I know we will mirror your intentions, and know when the time is right. Our younger boy will be nine in July, and is greying just like your Spanky-he watches over his big sister. They are both equally loved. Thanks for sharing Spanky’s story and God Bless You!!
