The adorable Saint Bernard dog is usually relaxed with everyone he meets but because he is so enormous, he needs frequent exercise. Calm and quiet when indoors, he needs lots of space and outside he must have lots of daily exercise to stay fit. Every St. Bernard loves romping about in the snow, and carrying things and whilst this dog has an independent streak, if you are consistent with him he’ll always try to please. On average, a Saint Bernard will live 9.5 years.
