    I think you all would be surprised about how many people mix these breeds together on purpose to make a profit. Bugs (boston terrier/pug), puggles (beagle/pug and chugs (chihuahua/pug) are hugely overbred in a large part of the county in order to make money off of “hybrids”. Which is exactly why articles like this are horrible, because now people are going to seek those bad breeders to buy these mixes for a ridiculous price when chances are there’s one sitting in a shelter near them. These dogs are usually poorly bred and used as breeding machines rather than pets, which caused health issues. Most people don’t fully understand the “backyard breeding” issue we have in this country, and they won’t start until articles like this one quit promoting it.
