For 24 years (according to the America Kennel Club) Labrador retrievers have held the top spot when it comes to the most popular breeds found in the entire United States. They were originally bred to be fishing dogs which is why most of them love water.
Their coats were designed to dry quickly and not weigh them down; they even have webbed toes to make it easier for them to swim. Isn’t that so cool?
