    Alternatively, if you have a shy, passive dog, this is his way of reassuring himself that you are there for him.”

  2. Most are incorrect, or should not be interpreted as simply.
    Yawning can be a sign of distress! Similar to licking the lose or lifting one of the front paws.
    Also, a bed is higher than the ground, and the alpha male sleeps the highest. Claiming the bed may just as well be claiming dominance.

    These are not wrong, it could be those things, but don’t trust it blindly. d
