  1. What has given humans the right to ‘make’ breeds in the first place? Imagine if some species decided humans should be bred for how they looked etc and to eliminate health problems (Well that almost happened once !). Unfortunately We have made this problem in the first place otherwise there wouldn’t be many abused animals just animals living their lives as intended and not forced to breed. Yes that would mean no poodles, bull dogs that can hardly breath, Labradors with Their common health problems and many other breeds manipulated by humans with their individual health problems. Pets are a human desire that isn’t even a necessity just one of many that has no thought of the consequence to other lives. But humans will continue to force breed animals anyway for our own uses and desires as we think we are superior to every other species .

  2. No one is saying that mixed breeds aren’t wonderful. What people are saying is spay and neuter your dogs! Pull up petfindercom, and type in ‘boxer’. Thousands of them for adoption. Look up ‘boxer rescue’ in your state. Again, homeless boxers for adoption. Now go back to any of the rescue sites and pick 7 dogs that do not, in your eyes, deserve a home or for that matter, to live. 7 is the approximate number in a boxer litter – 7 new lives that will stop 7 already here dogs from finding a home. Everyone that posted pictures of their dogs – yes they are adorable. 7 is every other dog that sits in rescue, sits and waits for love in a shelter or worse yet, sits in a kill shelter. If, in fact, you love your dogs/puppies as much as you say you do, be responsible. Stop random breeding, spay and neuter. It is the responsibility of each of us to stop the over population of dogs – whether ‘pure bred’ or mixed – they all deserve loving homes.

  3. She looks like a fine dog! Its very admirable that you rescued her. I think mine is going to be bigger. Leo is a male dog with huge paws. He has a very nice temperment. He learns very quickly. He is still a puppy and loves to sleep, but loves to play with the big dogs.

  4. Mutts are awesome dogs! Did you know that all your ” pure ” dogs came from mixing breeds back in the day! Look up where boxers decended from people… seriously! Smh All the akc or ukc has to do is recognize a breed and poof they are pure …
