15 UNREAL Boxer Dog Cross Breeds You’ve Got To See To Believe

12. Boxer + Siberian Husky = Boxsky

A mix between a Boxer and a Siberian husky is a great dog, if you teach it to be one. There are a few things you need to be aware of about a Boxsky if you're interested in getting one.

Boxers are normally good with other animals (may sometimes fight with the same sex). Huskies, on the other hand, have a strong prey drive, which is why they'll want to chase everything that is smaller than them and which moves.

So, what happens when a Boxer and a Siberian Husky decide to become one? The result is a cute mixed breed – Boxer-Siberian Husky Mix Breed or Boxsky in short – that borrows the traits and looks of both its parents!

The Boxer Husky Mix is not only a very beautiful dog but is also a very good working dog. When it comes to paying attention, the Boxer Husky Mix does a wonderful job of knowing its surroundings which makes them great family watch dogs. They seem to hear just about everything that goes on inside and outside of the home. This will make sneaking up on these canines very difficult.

They can also be very vocal when they hear something which will alert you to any threats that might be coming your way. You'll need to train them well so they don’t bark at every little sound they hear. Your neighbors will appreciate it for sure as they probably don’t want to hear your dog barking loudly every night and day. So making sure to get them some obedience training early on is a must.

While these dogs are very alert they can sometimes be shy in nature. Thus, you need to socialize them when they are puppies so that they don’t run away at the first sight of a stranger.

Expect your male boxsky mix to grow between 21 and 25 inches tall, averaging about 23 inches high. The female puppy should stand between 20 and 23.5 inches, perhaps averaging about 21.5 or 22 inches.
