According to Frenchie Mania, these lion-eared Frenchies are the result of two parents carrying an extremely rare and recessive gene that doesn’t typically appear in the breed.

    Frenchie’s have their own issues. IDK about these guys. I would hope they’re not being bred for this lion like mane. It also saddens me to see the merle’s being breed. These dogs can have lots of health issues & breeding them should be left to responsible breeders. If any one questions my comments look it up. Love these little dogs & all their crazy frenchie ways .
