According to Frenchie Mania, these lion-eared Frenchies are the result of two parents carrying an extremely rare and recessive gene that doesn’t typically appear in the breed.

    Just what the world wants more deformed animals, you are aware that pugs never looked like what they do now don’t you, they’ve been inbred and bred with other stupid dogs that they are now basically mutants of thier own breed.

    I read something recently about the desired, but mutated gene, that causes a pugs tail to curl is also responsible for paralysis. I loved my pug until I lost her at 5 years to a brain tumor and I will never own one again. Great dog, but SO many heart wrenching struggles.
