According to Frenchie Mania, these lion-eared Frenchies are the result of two parents carrying an extremely rare and recessive gene that doesn’t typically appear in the breed.

    I have one of these, he is a Chibull (pictured above). A mix of a Chihuahua and a French Bulldog, albeit not a direct mix mine is the 3rd generation of his kind. I bought him in the Netherlands where the breeders have been doing this for 10years. Most amazing temperament, affectionate and obedient dogs 🙂
