    German Shepard owners- do I need to have my Shepard professional trained or will in time listen to me? She is almost one . She will , sit. Stay. Heel, but not with company over . She wants to jump up on people . Gets excited

    I do. There’s so much to learn. Training is a wonderful bonding time as well as time for your dog to socialize with other dogs on neutral ground. There are also professionals willing and able to answer any questions you might have. My boy is almost 8 months and we’ve been going to training since I got him at 9 weeks. Still lots to learn.

    I must be the most crazy gsd person ever,before I got my own way about having a puppy ,3 years after losing my beautiful Meg.My husband said I couldn’t have one so after many rows I thought may be he would agree to a smaller breed .When I looked at several breeds I drew a complete blank and every time I saw a gsd I new there was no other dog for me,it’s something in their beautiful faces I just melt.So I think I qualify with honours.X
