Two Tiny Puppies Found Dumped In A Chips Box In Trash, Police Looking For Info

The man quickly informed animal services and the puppies were taken to the County Animal Services in Bonita. The puppies, one male and one female, were barely 12 days old, and could have easily suffocated to death within a matter of hours.

The puppies are currently under foster care. They will be up for adoption once they are old enough. Meanwhile, County Animal Services Director, Dan DeSousa, has been urging people to come forward with any information on the puppies or the person who dumped them.

The police has asked the public to call 619-767-2740 with any vital information on these puppies or who abandoned them. If any suspect is found and proved to be guilty, he/she could face up to 3 years in prison, or a fine of up to $20,000, or both. We hope the person who dumped these puppies so cruelly is found and held accountable.
