Pug Is Being Called A Hero For Saving Family In House Fire

A pug named Jersey is being called a hero because she woke her owners up just in time to save them from a house fire.

When Kim and Tom Zaker decided to sleep in the cool basement last September to escape the heat of the day, they had no clue what was about to happen to their family that night.

A fire tore through the main part of the house above and would have trapped and killed the couple, if not for the brave actions of their little pug, Jersey.

“In my mind Jersey is my hero,” said Tom.

    This sad I really couldn’t imagine my life without my Leia girl. I know this brought tears to my eyes, I know Leia would have do the same for us if ever needed. I’m so glad the couple servive though

    I totally agree. I’m guessing this was a self started fire to collect $$$ for the house. It just doesn’t add up to me. Anyone else in the world would pick up their pug and help their wife/husband out to safety. RIP sweet Jersey.

    So very very sad, I can’t imagine the pain this little hero went through saving his owners lives.
    Why didn’t the husband pick up the dog as they were leaving, (that was crying and barking to get their attention). RIP
