    I’ve had two absolute “love pugs”, especially my female who passed a couple years ago, they both loved being kissed, being held and giving kisses, but my male pug now, boy he hates to be held, kissed or petted, he’s a big growler, he’s an old guy (14-1/2) but he’s been that way forever (we got him at 2 months). He loves who he wants, when he wants and on his terms, which isn’t very often, other than that, no way!! I still love him to pieces even tho he growls at me!!! He tries to be tuff, but I know he isn’t!!
