Sarper Duman is a piano player who rescues stray and unwanted cats off the streets.
Resat is just one of the many cats Duman has saved. Nearly one and a half years ago, Duman discovered Resat on his way home one night.
His mouth was opened, revealing his scarred tongue and decayed teeth, and his body was covered in wounds.
Duman took Resat in and brought him to the vet, where they learned that he had diabetes. After pulling out the rotten teeth and treating him for two months, Resat looks like a whole new cat!
He is on a special diet for his diabetes, but aside from that, he is no different than Duman’s other cats and he is, of course, super happy!
While Duman is a piano teacher by day, he is a cat caretaker by night and just about every other moment he isn’t working.
He tends to these cats’ every need and does such an amazing job transforming them and lifting their spirits. The ones he doesn’t keep, he fosters until he finds them a loving home.
But their time at Duman’s house is nothing short of amazing.
When the cats first come to Duman’s house, they’re understandably nervous and stressed. But Duman puts his piano playing skills to good use and uses the piano to help soothe the cats before bed.
The cats absolutely love the relaxing sounds of the piano and gather around as Duman plays them songs.
