Pet Store Memorializes Their Most Loyal Doggy Customer After She Passed Away

Julie Wimmer and Clint Tuttle took their dog, Lady, to the Tomlinson’s Feed in Austin, Texas, almost every day.

When the couple first moved to town, they quickly discovered Lady’s love for the local pet supply shop when she would lead them to the store during walks.

Eventually, as Lady grew older, health issues prevented Lady from walking, but this never stopped her from visiting her favorite store and getting treats from her favorite employees.

Lady’s owners would still bring her to the pet store, except now in a red wagon. Tuttle and Wimmer rolled 13-year-old Lady across the parking lot in the wagon and into her beloved store, day after day and year after year until she grew very sick and eventually passed away.

When Tomlinson’s staff heard of Lady’s passing, they decided to memorialize her forever on their store.

They contacted an artist who painted a beautiful mural of Lady on the side of their building. The mural depicts Lady in her red wagon, wearing a halo.

“We walk past here all the time; we’re going to see it every day,” Tuttle told kxan. “It’s one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received in my entire life, hands down.”
