Patrick Stewart Greets The Pit Bull He Will Be Fostering And Falls In Love

Sir Patrick Stewart took a break from promoting his latest movie, Logan, to promote dog adoption. In fact, he is fostering a dog with his wife, in this case their first rescued Pit Bull.

It appears that the renowned actor, known for his role as Captain Picard in Star Trek and Charles Xavier in the X-Men movie franchise, has a soft spot for dogs.

In a video he released on Twitter, Stewart meets Ginger, the first Pit Bull he and his wife will be fostering. He captioned the video “Thanks to @ASPCA and @WagsandWalks Sunny and I are finally fostering our 1st pitbull! Meet Ginger. I’m in LOVE. #AdoptDontShop”

  1. Spoken like a true Pittie! That’s is what society doesn’t understand. It is hard to resist a Pittie smile, eagerness to please us with love, and endless kisses. We need to move past that ignorant stigma that theses adorable creatures are a menace to society. The real danger is our own ignorance.
