Living alone is one of the saddest experiences anyone could have. This dog has been living alone under the shipping container for nine years. Until the non-profit organization, Hope for Paws rescued her.
They received a call from a woman informing them that there is a dog in the scrapyard while she was doing work. The team discovered a dog sleeping under the container.
She was living there alone for almost a decade when her owner was banished and left her in a miserable condition.
Some people who would pass would often give her food. She also suffers from pain when she was hit by a truck and lost her right eye forever. She never received hospital treatment.
The rescuers slowly earn her trust and slowly brought her out of the container. They named her Josephine or in short “Pheenie”.
Pheenie let them pamper her and does not seem to be afraid. After a long time, she received the affection she long for.
They took her to the vet and discovered that she was not in good condition. She needs treatment but is now safe and has a warm place to stay.
After years of being in the dark, Pheenie found the light. She was loved and enjoys the warm sunlight and snow. She has also gained friends and they hang out sometimes.
After five months, Pheenie has her last breath peacefully in front of the fireplace.
For sure Pheenie was happy now and made happy memories before she crossed the rainbow bridge.
