A 37-year-old man from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania admitted to a terrible form of abuse against his two-year-old Pit Bull named Bricks.
Maurice Nelson is accused of hitting his dog in the side and then using a 40-ounce bottle of beer to hit the dog over the head.
According to the criminal complaint, Nelson’s girlfriend saw the dog bleeding over his right eye. She says she wanted police to take the dog to the veterinarian but they refused. The very next day, the woman took the pooch to a vet hospital.

The doctor who treated the animal reported the dog smelled and was dirty from not being bathed. The wound had dried and thankfully, there were no skull fractures.
At first, Nelson told police the beer bottle fell on his dog. Police did not believe the man and told him they wanted the truth.
Nelson began crying and told them the dog urinated on his bed and that’s when he hit him, but he “is remorseful.”

When a reporter stopped by the residence, a man walked away and would not say who he was. Nelson faces animal neglect and animal cruelty charges.
