Animal Aid Unlimited rescuers were called upon after a village found their street dog lying in grave danger.
She had a huge wound around her neck and needed help immediately, and they wrapped her in a blanket to try to keep her as calm and comfortable as possible…
They think maybe a vehicle tire caught her skin and tore it. Rescuers carried her carefully to the car to get her to the hospital for emergency surgery.
Luckily, there was enough skin to easily stitch the wound back together. Now all they could do was wait, but the next day brought new hope!
Molly woke up with a huge appetite and seemed to be reenergized! They spayed her and applied ointment to the wound, and it was starting to heal really well.
She would have died within a day without help, but wait until you see the dog now! 🙂
