The staff at the overcrowded Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas, feel defeated after finding another dumped dog outside their gates. This time, the owners are a special breed of scumbag.
The owners dumped their heavily pregnant dog simply because they hated her for getting pregnant and didn’t want her puppies!

The dog was chained to the shelter’s fence and her pregnant belly dragged along the ground as she tried to figure out her plight. She was first spotted by reporter Janelle Bludau, who informed the shelter and helped the dog get rescued. The shelter named the dog “Janelle” to thank her rescuer.
Janelle the dog is almost due for labor now, so the shelter’s Dr. White has decided to foster her as he is against dogs giving birth in unhygienic shelter conditions. X-Rays have revealed that she is expecting a large litter!
Meanwhile, cops are looking for the cruel owners who dumped Janelle so unceremoniously instead of surrendering her or getting help. Spread the word and help the cops find her stone-hearted owners!

Update: Dr. White has updated that Janelle has given birth to a litter of 11 puppies! She was birthing for more than 8 hours and Dr. White and his wife stayed up all night to care for her and her litter.
