As bizarre as it sounds, a man was arrested for saving his dog from a house fire. The reason being that he put himself and many others, including firefighters, in more danger. But how hard would it be to sit back and see your dog inside with the fire?
“I couldn’t watch no more. I had to go get him.”

Good for him! I’m surprised the cops didn’t shoot the dog, it being a ‘bad’ pit bull and all. It’s$#%&!@*like this that drives the public away from the police.

He was a hero for what he did. That was his baby and did what he had to do. That would be like leaving your child to burn in the fire. Pets are your family too. I hope that these charges get thrown out. He valued his dog’s life more than his own.

This guy is a hero. It is ridiculous to arrest him and waste of taxpayers money. Would they arrest him if he would have rescued a child? Legal system should focus on real criminals. This man did the right thing. He lost his belongings in the fire. He is a family man and now he has to deal with criminal charges.
Hey prosecutor do the right thing and please drop the charges.

I pity the poor man being arrested for saving his dog from a house fire. But emotionally, I stand on this man’s side. It’s really hard to just stand there and watch your dog trapped in a burning house, especially when you see your dog as companion, buddy, family member, furbaby, and do nothing. I’m just glad that both the man and his dog are safe.
