This Amazing DOCUMENTARY Between a Woman and her Pug Will Touch Your Heart

We've come across an amazing and touching documentary between a woman, Doreen Devore, and her beloved pug, Spanky.

“Considering how much joy our pets can bring us, is love between a pet and an owner any less significant than love between two people?”

That's the question that Doreen raised and this beautiful documentary attempts to (and most successfully does in our opinion) shed some light on that question through the story of the devoted Doreen and her precious pug Spanky.

Spanky has been with Doreen for 16 long years! They are best of friends and love each other very much (which is so apparent from the film). However, Spanky requires a little extra love and attention because of his old age and health problems.

Watch and learn all the ways Doreen keeps Spanky taken care of so that he can stay as healthy as possible. It’s amazing how much devotion can go to a helpless doggy.

  1. Doreen is a Angel. So joyful and so sad. Rip Spanky. Your a true warrior. I would hope I could show half the love that Doreen did and hope our grumble could love me half as much as Spanky did her.

  2. An amazing human being you are Doreen and what you did for Spanky. I cried with you on that very difficult day. My Pug is 8 and Great Dane almost 10. I hope I have the strength you had when it comes to that time in my Pugs life. I’ll always remember this. Thank you for sharing your amazing story. God Bless you Doreen.

  3. It is so hard for me to watch, I lost my 14 year old in June and our story was similar. I do treasure my time with her and I miss her every day. She was a little black pug, who also became blind, slightly deaf in her senior years. I hospiced (sp?) her at the end and treasured every minute I had, accidents, crankiness, adorableness in all. Wow – this was touching….I am forever grateful she came into my life.

  4. I cried like a baby…such a beautiful story…our first pug died at 14 and we nursed him to the end. Yesterday was 6 years that he is gone…my second baby just turned 14 and is going blind and his hearing is going but I will love him, and do whatever it takes til the end..my heart breaks just thinking about him leaving me

  5. I agree with you Gail !! I’ve lost two of my pugs to old age and I now have one that is 14 also and he is blind and deaf and has severe back pain and has been on pain medication for over a year but as long as I can help him relieve the pain I will care for him as long as possible and enjoy every precious moment I have left with him.. I’m just grateful I was able to retire to stay home a care for him. God Bless You !!!! This is my Woody.
