This Amazing DOCUMENTARY Between a Woman and her Pug Will Touch Your Heart

We've come across an amazing and touching documentary between a woman, Doreen Devore, and her beloved pug, Spanky.

“Considering how much joy our pets can bring us, is love between a pet and an owner any less significant than love between two people?”

That's the question that Doreen raised and this beautiful documentary attempts to (and most successfully does in our opinion) shed some light on that question through the story of the devoted Doreen and her precious pug Spanky.

Spanky has been with Doreen for 16 long years! They are best of friends and love each other very much (which is so apparent from the film). However, Spanky requires a little extra love and attention because of his old age and health problems.

Watch and learn all the ways Doreen keeps Spanky taken care of so that he can stay as healthy as possible. It’s amazing how much devotion can go to a helpless doggy.

  1. Papi is only 5 years old but this documentary made me cry so much because I don’t want to think about my little baby gone. I love him immensely and I will cherish every single year he has of life 🙂 thanks for the beautiful story.

  2. She had such devotion to him. Yes it was uncondional love and it kept him going. The ulltimate love for him she gave him peace. It is heart breaking when there is a loss of a pet. We had a pug Frodo he was such a special dog. He was 12 when he passed such an emptiness to the house. Miss him.

  3. My girls, Miss Molly and Sambucca…. We lost our Molly at 12 yrs old…..I have lost pets before, but I had Molly since she was 6 mos old…..and losing her gutted my whole family. Our Bucca will be 12 in May, and we have had her since she was 8 weeks old…..I dread the day we have to make that decision.

  4. These are my 2 beautiful girls Bailie & Coco they are still young but watching this documentary has made me realise how much I love & cherish them. You are an amazing woman Doreen & I hope I have your strength in the years to come. Spanky had the best mum ever. X

  6. Know what you mean Ruth, my Scrumpy is 14 now and still pottering on, blind in one eye and deaf in one ear. We used to swim in the sea together every day when we lived in Mallorca and I rescued him from being put down in a dog’s home. We’ve been through so much together and when he goes I’ll be lost, but at least he’s had a great life.

  7. I when through the same thing with my pug Bugsy I had stroller and even wheels for him like you I help him pee he was my baby I didn’t won’t to leave him at the vets I had to know he would be treated with respect I feel your pain I miss my Bugsy .
