We've come across an amazing and touching documentary between a woman, Doreen Devore, and her beloved pug, Spanky.

“Considering how much joy our pets can bring us, is love between a pet and an owner any less significant than love between two people?”

That's the question that Doreen raised and this beautiful documentary attempts to (and most successfully does in our opinion) shed some light on that question through the story of the devoted Doreen and her precious pug Spanky.

Spanky has been with Doreen for 16 long years! They are best of friends and love each other very much (which is so apparent from the film). However, Spanky requires a little extra love and attention because of his old age and health problems.

Watch and learn all the ways Doreen keeps Spanky taken care of so that he can stay as healthy as possible. It’s amazing how much devotion can go to a helpless doggy.

    So amazing and beautiful! I have two little pug babies, I already can’t imagine my life without either of them… touched my heart, pugs are amazing dogs with unconditional love and I am a lucky human to be able to give my love to these amazing little guys!

    I posted this last week, the dog looks like my Sophie, it really made me cry. She is gray, in good shape but just turned 9. I know I don’t have many years left with her and I’m trying to prepare myself

    This is Wallace – 13 years of age, regularly gets physiotherapy for his back legs, gets carried everywhere and I am sure he plays on it so he doesn’t have to walk – he is my whole world

    My special pug Chubb lived to 16 & 1/2. I went thru 3 strollers, multiple surgerys, He was my best ever friend companion. I had to let him go because he started having multiple grand mall seizures. I could not bare to see him go thru that, it was heart breaking with many tears. I completely understand what you are going thru, God Bless

    You have a heart of gold which I can relate to my pug was 15 an he was blind, paralyzed, deaf, kidney failure an cushions disease he was my best friend but I had to do that bad thing an have him put down December 29th the worst thing I ever had to do. He was in so much pain cause he could not release his urine I had to an I always told him I would never let him suffer so I could be happy.
