A 20-pound French Bulldog is being hailed as a hero dog after scaring off three bears outside her home in Monrovia, California.

Two bears – believed to be about a year old each – wandered into the home's front yard. A third bear was on the balcony, just out of range of the security camera.

Being outnumbered didn’t deter the family guard French Bulldog, Jules, as it quickly went after the bears and scared them off the property.

Proves and illustrates the old adage: “It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.”

    Just goes to show the size of the dog doesn’t mean they can’t take care of business. I owned a miniature poodle (10 #s maybe) that you would’ve thought she was standard size, when it came to taking care of business around the house. She had a few 6′, 200+#, buffaloed, on more than one occasion
