Police dogs, often referred to in North America as “K-9″s (which is a homophone of canine), are dogs that are specifically trained to assist police and other law-enforcement personnel in their work…
…such as searching for drugs and explosives, searching for lost people, looking for crime scene evidence, and protecting their handlers.
The most commonly used breed is the German Shepherd. But don’t underestimate our Boxer Friends!
This A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (and I repeat, AMAZING!!) German Boxer, has made over 500 arrests in less than 4 years as a police dog!!!!!!! MUCH more than most human police in their whole careers.
Watch the video on the next page and be amazed by this Extreme Police! K9 style!

We are in Statesville NC. We had a male boxer that just passed away in June. His name was Bullet and in his prime he weighed 110lbs. We plane to get another male boxer in the future. We want to get a reverse or sealed Boxer from a German bloodline. Bullets dad weighed 150lbs. We plane on coming up to PA. sometime after the first of the year to find us another make Boxer. Probably towards spring of the year.

With this level of training boxers can be effective. How ever I have always believed that I want my boxers to love everyone! I should be the soul determining end to all arguments, problems and such! I would never put my dogs in the position of them having to make decisions that could adversely effect them. I feel I should be the one to make those decisions and take my personal freedom into jeopardy. That being said I also need to recognize that dogs also have mind of their own and may not like it if someone threatens my family or myself, I just pray it never has to happen that way!

i dont find this video amazing dont show how they got this boxer to be so extreme not normal for boxers and second seriously question his diet to make him so muscular he is beautiful but looks like a fighting dog not so much police dog
Lasha Bender

This is normal. Police k9 dogs are trained for commands like this. He is a happy dog and just pleasing his master. When they put this vest on them and give them special commands they do the work. I’m sure he is a happy dog outside the work. Also, German boxers are lot more muscular than American boxers.

I had a Boxer for 11 years. Loved that dog!
At the peak of his fitness, he was a very solid 85 pounds. I fed him no more than was recommended for his size, activity level and age. He had plenty of exercise and was a happy, well behaved pup!
As for the training shown, going against their nature, I can tell you that my dog LOVED to rough-house! His play style was very combative. But he was inherently well mannered and very sweet, always happy to meet and greet everyone! He was amazing around small kids – as so many other Boxer owners often state.
Keep in mind that Boxers are also instinctively very protective! The warm and cheerful disposition can easily lead people to be unaware of their ability to turn aggressive. But I can assure you that when they decide that they don’t like a person, they become very different dogs! I saw this’ll happen on only three occasions. One involved a vehicle with two strangers parked on the street in front of my house. He had watched the person in the car and decided he did not like that person and car just sitting there. He got quite stirred up and was very focused on this car, while alerting to us. Loudly! Upon approaching the car, it suddenly left.
A second occasion involved a drunk individual trying to unlock my back door at 11:30 at night. Oscar did not appreciate this at all! I had little problem convincing the guy to leave.
Yes, Boxers are sweet, but they have a powerful side too! Never discount it!

Truthfully my boxer isn’t very social. We’ve taken her to the dog park since she was 3 months old. She’s an absolute fetching machine. I think she would love to work like this dog.
